Universal's symbiotic phosphorous solublising bacteria P SOURCEContaining Bacillus polymyxa, Bacillus megaterium, Pseudomonas striata, Aspergillus awamori Recommended to used in Vegetables (Onion, Chillies, Tomato, Brinjal, Okra, Cucumber) and fruit crops (Mango, Sapota, Banana, Pomogranate, grape, Citrus), Plantation crop( Tea, Coffee), Pulses (beans, Chick pea, black gram, green gram, pigeon pea, pea), Oil seeds (groundnut sunflower, safflower, soybean, seasamum), Cereals (Rice, Jawar, Bajra, Wheat, Maize) Dose For seed treatment- Mix 5-10 ml of P Source in sufficient water and coat the seeds (1 kg) well and shade dry for half an hour before sowing For root dip - Mix 50-100 ml of P Source in 10- 20 litres of water and dip the seedling for 30 minutes before transplanting
Drenching in soil - 250 -500 ml of P Source can be mixed with 100 kg of Farmyard manure. Blend the mixture well and broadcast it over one acre of land before last ploughing or first irrigation
In fruit crop- For most field and horticultural crops like fruits trees and ornamental trees: Apply at the root zone directly early in the season. For treatment of individual trees or vines, apply @ of 2 ml/ lit of water Mode of action The dormant forms of P Source on reaching the soil gets activated and produces fresh batch of active cells. These cells grow and multiply by utilizing the carbon source in the soil or from root exudates. During their growth, they solubilise the fixed phosphorus in the soil and make it available in the plant in an easily usable form.. It also secretes certain acids such as lactic, gluconic, fumaric, succinic and acetic acid which convert insoluble tricalcium phosphate and rock phosphate into soluble form Special features
